The Patricia Frost Music Studio

The Patricia Frost Music Studio is a 3-story state of the art music learning facility in Coral Gables, Florida. The facility consists of 72 individual soundproof music studios for vocal, percussion, string, woodwind, brass, and keyboard instruments. Each studio is independent of each other, in that sound and vibration from one room will not transmit into an adjacent room, via floating floors, triple pane glass, sound caulking fillers, and interstitial spaces between walls. All HVAC equipment with moving parts for individual rooms were keep outside each room to reduce air noise to a minimum using variable air volume boxes. HVAC cooling in each room was provided using chilled beam technology for quiet air performance.
